The Flexible, Scalable Electronics Architecture (FlexSEA) project has one main goal: speeding up and simplifying the use of electronics in wearable robotics devices. The system provides the required hardware and software for precise motion control, data acquisition, and networking of multi-axis and multi-joint active prostheses and exoskeletons. It is the first and only embedded systems solution to bridge the gap between research and commercial applications, and is open-source.
